Joe Ratcliff Walkway beam placements and Rosser Road bridge deck pouring will occur the weekend of February 17-19. Keep an eye out for future updates on the lane configurations and animation videos associated with this upcoming construction!
Oversized Vehicle Traffic: Please Note!
Due to the reconstruction of LBJ bridge elevations, frontage lanes and main lanes along the corridor will have current ASHTO minimum clearances will be set along the corridor:

Minimum Vertical Clearances: 14 feet 6 inches

Minimum Horizontal Clearances:

Frontage Lanes: 10 feet

Main Lanes: 10 feet 5 inches

Cross-Street Construction
Along the entire corridor, cross-street bridges and intersections are being reconstructed to accommodate the new highway. Below is a list of long-term closures currently taking place on cross-street intersections:
Hillcrest Road: Various reduced north and southbound lanes.
Montfort Drive: Reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in each direction
Welch Road: CLOSED for reconstruction through June 2012
Rosser Road: CLOSED for reconstruction through April 2012
Marsh Lane: Reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in each direction
Joe Ratcliff Walkway: CLOSED for reconstruction through March 2012
Josey Lane: Reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in each direction.
Ramps and Frontage Roads
Along the eastern side of LBJ-635, drivers will notice that we have begun the frontage road and ramp-work along the eastbound side between Webb Chapel and Marsh Lane. There is some extensive drainage work being performed as well to ensure that the project will meet the stringent guidelines related to water run-off.
